Nonsynthetics builds the supplier network, documents the materials and manages sourcing on behalf of buyers.
Nonsynthetics exists because sourcing non-synthetic materials is still slow, opaque work. Specifications arrive in inconsistent formats, minimum order quantities are unclear until late in a conversation, and certification claims are difficult to verify at the point of decision.
We work in the other direction. Suppliers are onboarded and verified by our material team. Each fabric, fiber and dye is documented to one specification — composition, country of origin, weight, width, minimum order quantity, lead time, certifications and dye information — before it is published.
Buyers browse that catalogue, order a sample box, and submit sourcing briefs. We return priced quotes with MOQ, lead time and shipping estimates. Supplier contact details are never published: enquiries reach suppliers through us, already qualified.
This first version covers discovery, sampling, sourcing requests, quotes and bulk order records. Sample boxes are paid by card. Bulk transactions are handled as quotes while we build the supplier-side infrastructure that automated checkout requires.
